Welcome to Bath's Magical New Winter Ice Rink

The world heritage city of Bath is, this year, playing host to a brand new festive winter Ice Rink.

We opened on Friday 23rd November 2012, residents and visitors to Bath alike can now take to the ice in the spectacular surroundings of Royal Victoria Park.

Bath on Ice introduces ice skating back to Bath with an open air real ice rink. Celebrate Christmas in style with us beneath the Royal Crescent. In this our first year, we aim to make ice skating a great day out for all on our rink. In search of fun things to do this Christmas? Ice Skate along with friends, family, Christmas parties or even break the ice on a romantic date . This Christmas come and try ice skating at Bath's new winter attraction. Beautifully lit up after dark our city centre location makes us the ideal choice for a great festive activity.

Bath On Ice Cafe

We know how exhausting it is trying not to look like bambi on ice so after your skate relax at our rink side café, offering spectators and skaters alike a perfect viewpoint from which to sit and support those on the ice. We are using local Bath based companies and products, freshly delivered daily to give you a great festive taste of Bath. We will be serving:
- Hot spiced apple juice and hot mulled cider (alcohol from 10th Dec onwards)
- Hot mulled wine (10th Dec onwards)
- Delicious range of decadent hot chocolates, teas and freshly ground coffees.
- Festively decorated cupcakes, gingerbread men, flapjacks, brownies, bakewell cake, Christmas cake and more all made fresh daily by the Bath Cake Company
- A great range of pastries and breads including warm bread pasties with delicious local fillings and the tastiest mince pies around, all made fresh daily by the Thoughtful Bread Company.
- Hot warming soup made fresh daily by the Bath Soup Company
We have selected our cafe products specifically to compliment a fabulous and festive day out for all. We are not serving sit down meals but will have superb, fresh tasty treats and a great range of drinks for all to enjoy. We will be offering a party rate per head which will include a drink and snack which can be ordered before you skate so we can prepare it to be ready when you come off the ice. We will have some seating available inside our heated marquee and lots of outdoor seating around the rink. So come and warm up with us!
